Dr. Yanhu Zhang is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute), Jiangsu University. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in January 2017 and has since dedicated his career to advanced research and teaching at Jiangsu University. During his postdoctoral tenure (2018–2020) in Electrical Engineering at the same institution, he specialized in piezoelectric motor stability. His academic excellence has been recognized through prestigious appointments, including selection for the Jiangsu Province "Double Entrepreneurship Doctor" high-level talent program (2018) and the Taizhou City "Double Entrepreneurship Talents" innovation award (2021). As a principal investigator, Dr. Zhang has successfully led a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project, a key basic strengthening sub-project under the 173 Program, and five industry-sponsored R&D initiatives. He has also contributed to eight national-level and four provincial-ministerial collaborative projects. His scholarly output includes over 80 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals such as Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Nano Letters, Tribology International, and Chemical Engineering Journal, alongside 20+ granted national invention patents. An active peer reviewer for 40+ international journals—including AM, AS, Nano Energy, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics,Journal of Materials Processing Technology, and Surface and Coatings Technology—Dr. Zhang bridges research and academic service. His expertise spans piezoelectric drive/actuation/sensing systems, tribology (surface engineering and wear mechanisms), and cryogenic measurement technologies.
