Dr. Guoping Zhao, born in 1968, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in casting in 1989, graduated from Jiangsu University with a master's degree in 1997, and graduated from Technische Universität Darmstadt with a doctorate in 2004. Currently is a full-time teacher at the Institute of Metal Forming and Control Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University. Following lectures were given: Metal Solidification Principles, Material Forming Processes, Foundry Mechanization, Foundry Shop Design and Advanced Solidification Technology. He is mainly engaged in casting alloy development, casting process simulation, directional solidification technology, clean casting new material related technology development, and is a member of Foundry Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineer Society.
