Micro-&Nano-fabrication: Clean room , Lithography, Physical vapor deposition (E-beam evaporation, thermal evaporation), Three-dimensional nanomembranes, Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templated nanoarrays, Polystyrene (PS) nanospheres templated nanoarrays.
Characterization: Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Raman microscopy, Laser confocal photoluminescence microscopy.
Theoretical calculations:Helmholtz equation (resonant modes and field distributions), Finite element method (FEM), Finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD), Perturbation theory.
