Personal Information

Bin Li is currently a full-time Professor in the Department of New Energy Science and Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering, Jiangsu University, China. He obtained his PhD degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2012. After that, he did a post-doc research in State Key Laboratary of Coal Combustion in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China for about 2 years. Then he moved to Curtin Unversity, Australia and worked as a visiting research sholoar and post-doc for nearly 4 years in total. His main research interest is to efficiently convert biomass residues/organic solid wastes to value added energy, carbon-based materials and chemicals via thermochemical routes. He has profound experiences in fundamental research, technology development, scaling up and commercialization. Due to the excellence in R&D, he got a position as a Professor in Jiansu University, China, in July 2018.
