My research focuses on the synthesis of electrode materials and additive manufacturing. From 2017 to 2018, my work centered on the design, fabrication, characterization, and application of electrode materials for the detection of trace-level pharmaceuticals. Since 2018, my research has primarily focused on the application of 3D printing technology to functional energy storage devices. This includes the design and fabrication of wearable lithium-sulfur batteries, investigations into the mechanisms of lithium metal deposition, and the development and application of flexible batteries. Furthermore, I am proficient in various computer modeling and simulation techniques, including molecular dynamics (using GROMACS) and electrochemical deposition modeling (using COMSOL). I possess a solid foundation and extensive experience in synthesizing 3D-printable electrode slurries, designing and refining 3D printers, utilizing fused deposition modeling (FDM) and direct-ink-writing (DIW) 3D printing, designing and fabricating functional battery devices, preparing and characterizing electrode materials, and conducting electrochemical measurements on batteries.
